| Liar game season 1 |
Status: Completed
Episodes: 11
Genre: Psychological, Suspense, Mystery, (Romance, for me kekeke~)
My rating: ★★★★☆ (My favorite!)
Comparison to the manga: I haven't read the manga. (・・;), but I will.
Synopsis: Akiyama is so hot. Wait- that's not it. (Too early to discuss about that)
Do you think you could lie about anything for 100 million yen? That's the question you would ask yourself if you ever participate in this mysterious game called Liar Game. You have to beat your opponent; otherwise you'll be in debt. An ordinary college student, Nao Kanzaki (Erika Toda) is suddenly pulled into this crazy game where you compete how well you can lie. She's too honest to win such game, but with the aide by a genius con artist, she survives each tournament. So many lies and so many betrayals. You'd be shocked how ugly people could be when it comes to greed. But she never loses her faith in people. In this suspenseful drama, we experience the same desperation, frustration and hope that this young girl goes through as the true motive of the game is being revealed.

| DAMN GHURL! Sorry I can't help myself not to put this. |
Before I talk about Akiyama's hotness, coolness and stares, I will first talk about how just the synopsis caught my attention. I promised myself last month to take a break on watching dramas and start practicing keyboard. But unfortunately, I saw Liar Game. (・\) I wanna slap myself that time. I was just gonna watch one episode but I can't help it. And before I knew, I finished it in just one day. Personally, I love psychology so it might be a bit biased. But it really gave the series a twist that will leave you so many questions. It makes you want to continue watching until you know the answer. And sadly, one episode isn't enough to answer all those questions. Although at the start, the strategies are dumb (as well as Nao) and predictable, but as it progress, it gets complex. So I suggest you give it a try even if you're too smart that you can predict all what's gonna happen.
Akiyama and Nao's different personalities creates an amazing chemistry that makes the series more interesting. (Although Nao's stupidness will make your face swollen because of numerous times of face palms.) And there's a pinch of romance there. *smirks* (I think) Also Akiyama's hotness will really make you wonder why there's no romance written on the genre. (^\\\\^) Moreover, the antagonists will really annoy you and I think it's good, because it means that the actors are portraying their characters well. Actually, all of them are really good actors.
Here's a really funny scene from the series <--click br="" style="-webkit-padding-start: 0px;">
Recommend? OF COURSE! It's really cool (especially Akiyama). --click>
